Young the Giant, out of Irvine, rocked it on the Letting Go stage today. They were another band that I was really looking forward to seeing. They drew a huge crowed that spilled way past the area surrounding the stage. Once they started, even more people came to the Letting Go stage to see what all the commotion was about. They sounded that good.
Their lead singer, Sameer Gadhia, has an absolutely beautiful voice that was even more incredible live. Like butta! It was drummer François Comtois’s 24th birthday as well, so the show was extra special for them. During their hit “My Body”, Sameer jumped into the crowd resulting in all of the ladies losing their minds. They were a favorite of mine this weekend, I am going to make it a point to catch them again. Like butta!
