Finalists have been selected in 92ZEW’s Reach for the Beach contest! Each finalist will play a Countdown to Hangout Fest show and one winner will be chosen based on a combination of fan votes and judges scores. The finalists are:

Do you think your band has what it takes to play at Hangout Fest?
92ZEW’s ‘Reach for the Beach’ contest is giving Gulf Coast musicians the chance to play the this year’s festival!
To be considered, submit your band to 92ZEW for consideration. 6 finalists will be selected, and each will play an opening set for a national recording artist during the Countdown to Hangout Fest concert series. Each week, finalists will be awarded scores based on a point system with the final score being a combination of points received from the judges and the audience attending their Countdown to Hangout Fest show.
A winner will be selected based on final scores and announced on Monday, May 12.
This contest is open to unsigned artists anywhere in the state of Alabama or within 100 miles of Gulf Shores, AL.
If you want your band in, fill out the entry form, and return it to 92ZEW with your best jams (without obscenities) via mail or delivery to the offices of 92ZEW, 1100 Dauphin St. Suite E Mobile, Al. 36604.
