Check out some of the best tastes of the Gulf while enjoying music from the new BMI stage – now located in the Alabama Gulf Seafood courtyard. A unique culinary experience with regional chefs preparing fresh Gulf catches like shrimp, oysters, and crab straight from the pristine waters that make up the festival’s backdrop. And, wash it down at the Olmeca Altos margarita bar located in the courtyard.
Acme Oyster House: Founded in the heart of
New Orleans’s French Quarter in 1920, Acme Oyster House debuted its Alabama location in March 2014. The restaurant boasts that the key to its success is not get too far from its source, which is why its newest location is in Alabama’s Gulf Coast.

The Hungry Owl: Chef and owner Tony Nicholas was born and raised in one of Alabama’s most historic coastal towns, Mobile. He’s worked with Chef Emeril Lagasse and has spent a lifetime perfecting his Southern and Creole influenced restaurant.

Wintzell’s Oyster House: A historic landmark in Mobile, Ala., this restaurant has served fresh Gulf Seafood for more than 75 years and is known all over for its “Oysters-fried, stewed or nude.” Each day, Wintzell’s Oyster House serves the freshest seafood available, which amounts to approximately 93,000 pounds of shrimp, 182,000 pounds of fresh oysters and 21,000 gallons of gumbo annually.
