The String Cheese Incident – Set 1

String Cheese played a full 2 sets today at the Chevy Stage on the East side of the grounds. I caught the first set this afternoon. They were arguably one of the most anticipated bands of the festival, which was clear to see, the Chevy stage was packed.
They brought full energy to a crowd that was going nuts. Beach balls were flying in the air and hula hoops were hoopin’. Opening with a longtime favorite “Rosie”, Cheese got the fans dancing right from the start. They closed the first set with a Dead favorite “I Know You Rider” and gave it bluegrass twist. They still rock it just as hard as they have in years past and keep the energy throughout the long set. I feel like Cheese will always be a festival staple and they draw a huge crowd every time.
